Yeah, that's very common for them to burn out.

How could they burn out already? I didn't even have them for a whole year? Do I have to buy a new set of bulbs now? Or I was thinking maybe a wire is lose or something went wrong when my HID kit got installed?

Could be a loose wire - or could just be the halo. That's normal - some of them don't last long.

Those halos always go out so most likely it's that. One of the reason I had someone custom make mine.

That's pretty disappointing to hear since these projector lights weren't cheap... I got a pair of extra H1 (light blue) Silverstar bulbs It's pouring down rain here today so I can't do anything today with the car maybe tomorrow after work.

If they're the typical projector housings, yeah, that's a pretty well-known fact that the halos eventually will go out.

Not sure how long an actual retrofit's halos last, but a lot don't even have one.

The led rings which I have r rated 50,000 hours. Don't know lifetime of the ccfl halos. Get any water on them tho and they are toast. That's what happened to mine in my car accident and had to rebuild them.

---------- Post added at 10:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:17 AM ----------

I do know tho ccfls don't last nowhere as long but yes they should last longer than a year.
