Hid's

so I purchased some hid's a while ago and I'm having trouble getting back to the site to try and get an hid kit for my fog lights. The ones I did purchase weren't hundreds of dollars, so I'm looking for decent hid fog lights for not a bad price. Any ideas?

I would recommend ddm tuning. They have been known for very slow shipping but I've been using their ballasts for my hids for 1/2 year and they work great!

Showoff thread finally!!!! : )

Ddm ships directly from China so it does take a while, and one of my 4 ballasts failed on me after like a year and a half

That's not bad considering how cheap they are. If you want quality get morimoto.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all, and I'm pretty sure it was just because of how I had that one mounted I'm pretty sure it got messed up when I put my car in the ditch last winter and just took a while to fail. I was going to get some morimotos but I didn't have that kind of money laying around to buy two sets when I did my retrofits haha

Most of the time DDMs are fine anyway.

My buddy had an E46, and he did the Mini H1 retrofits in his headlights, with a Morimoto HID kit (with the harness and what not), and then just a simple DDM kit for the fog lights.

DDM kit worked flawlessly till he sold the car (still worked fine) - while the Morimoto kit started having trouble a few months before. It worked most of the time, but sometimes it'd flicker, wouldn't come on, would shut off, etc. All in all - not really worth the price difference there.

Kensun is a pretty good brand also the kits are like a couple hundred dollars but they do crazy sales sometimes where it's like 70 percent off

I have had DDM Tuning HIDs for quite sometime now as well. I went with the 55w kits, and love both of them. DDM does sometimes take a while to ship, but if you call them they might be able to ship from one of their stores in cali. Don't forget they have a lifetime warranty as well.
