Spoiler question!?

I have a 2010 LS Sedan and I was told that if your car didn't come with a spoiler (which mine did not) that you could install any of the SS cobalt spoilers, is this true? And if this is I was wondering if I could get this specific spoiler..it says it only fits SS Models and if that's the case are SS trunks totally different than the LS trunks? I really want this spoiler but I don't wanna buy it if it doesn't fit! Thanks

Coupe Trunks are the same no matter which model and sedan Trunks are the same, you can't swap a Coupe for a sedan or vice versa. And as for that specific spoiler, I'm not sure how different the lines and everything are between the two so I can't say how that specific one will fit on a sedan

Bolt pattern are the same, so don't know why it would fit. An SS spoiler might not look good on a sedan though, maybe that's what they mean. I installed the smaller, lower wing on my 07, just drilled 4 holes in the pre-determined spots and it bolted no problem.

Well that's kind of disappointing because I hate the sedan spoiler but I don't want anything that sits up too high! So any suggestions? I just wanted it to look a tad bit more sporty

The one you have pictured, I believe is glued on with sticky tape and only fits the coupe

Hmmm Ok I see ! So I could just get a standard Coupe spoiler since I don't have any pre existing holes in my trunk? I kinda like those because I set up a little higher than sedan spoiler

Yeah, you can get any of the regular add pointers that bolt on as the bolt patterns are all the same.

i have a friend that has a wing like this on her ion, idk if they make them specific for the cobalt or not but im assuming if this says its only for the SS cobalt and she has one that works on her ion it might work your your cobalt.

Ok thanks! Most likely I'm probably just going to get the standard spoiler that comes on the coupe and hope it looks good on my little sedan! Lol smh

I don't know how I feel about the large coupe spoiler on a sedan.

But I think the standard low profile spoiler looks fine

Hopefully that gives you a better idea of what it'll look like. Go for whichever you like better.
