Diagnostic Reader

I have a 2006 Cobalt LS and I'm looking for a diagnostic code reader to service a problem, beyond the basics. Something that I can plug in and read a code that tells me if a oxygen sensor is bad, etc., or even better yet, something that'll actually tell me .. OXYGEN SENSOR, for example.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'd like to stay under $ 300 if possible.
