On Back of Intake Cam

This is about the dumbest ? I have ever asked but would anyone know what that thing ( for the lack of a better word ) at the end of the intake cam is called ? Looked at all my books and can't even find anything on it.....No electrical plug and has 2 blots holding it down on head and 2 blots on the back of it for the cover....Took all the blots out and still won't lift off head...Tried rubber hammer Still won't come off. Anyone know for sure if you take 2 mounting blots and back cover and should come off...that's the way it looks to me. It's on a Chev Cobalt 2.2L 2006

Are you talking about the blank cover where the power steering pump used to be?
