For MN the darkest you can go all around (except windshield) on a car is 50%, but I think it is allowable down to 35% all around (except windshield) if you carry a doctors prescription for being susceptible to migraines while driving.

I'm pretty sure you can go as dark as you want on the rear window and rear side windows if you have a 4 door. All SUV's and trucks have super dark tint on the rear windows from the factory

Mkay, well I know that I have to have it done shortly because pretty soon it is going to be a misdemeanor for any business that puts it on a car. I think the bill was just introduced in legislature this year.
