new to the site

Hi folks,wifey bought an 09 cobalt and the oil life function won't reset according to the owners manual how to.
can anybody give me some insight please?

if its not working id just take it to the dealership and get it fixed. otherwise maybe read closer in case your missing a step. I havent hit my first oil change yet so Im no help really lol

Turn car off and pump gas pedal 5 times. Should reset oil life.

Turn car off. put key in ignition turn but dont start. Press both function bottons. One has like a Enter Sign Arrow and the other i really cant remember. Then you will see the oil life reset function pop up. Press and hold the Enter Sign Arrow and it will reset

Hey guy's,
Well I didn't go by the owners manual,, I LISTENED TO YOUR REPLIES!
I turned the ignition to the on position, pumped the gas pedal 3-4 times and oil life is at
100%.
