Hey Everyone

Whats up everyone! I got my 2007 Cobalt a year ago. Its a 4 Door LT. Its All stock...trying to fix that! And livin in Wichita Kansas

Hey buddy welcome to yourcobalt! I recommend starting with an intake, probably one of the easiest and hp per dollar mods you're going to get. Just ask around if you have any questions!

Do you think it would be best to make a build your own or a something like an AEM or K&N?

I personally bought one because I love the look of an aftermarket intake. If you know how to build your own though it's a fraction of the price and does just a good of a job as any. There is a very helpful guide on this site for building your own. I'll go find the link.
