Lowering and Tire Size

i just got a set of new tires and they are 225/40/18, can i still lower the car on the sportlines or a different spring, or am i gonna be screwed 4x4ing it? lol

make sure you get an alignment done after installation though!!

Ive got 225/40/18s and I am lowered on sportlines.

yeah you do need an alignment but since lowering springs are not very well made half the time the camber goes out and you need eccentric bolts cause our suspension is so cheap and you cant adjust anything. when i got coilovers my mysterious camber thing just went away. usually if the car doesnt pull, there's no need for an alignment but it's good to check anyway. and with sportlines yeah you may be stuck with 4x4 mode, but it'll still look sick!
