First off, welcome fellow NC'er and second. I think lower is more pleasing to the eye and overall worth every penny. Second, CAI are nice but they wear off on you.

And dang on the mileage daily.

Cool man, yea another car is always nice to have. Thought about that for me too as the truck I have is definitely not daily material just because of mileage but got stuff to pay off then we'll see.

Welcome to the forum. If you drive it that much id say intake, if you get another car for commuting id say lower. But more than anything id say decide what u want out of your cobalt before doing any mod. I.E handling, speed, show etc. As much as I love my base model, its never going to be trully fast. But they sure can make a fun daily driver. But if you do plan on modding it, most of all do lots of research and just have fun. I know I have. Enjoi ..
