Question My First Project Car, Need Help!

New member looking for some help with my 2007 Chevy Cobalt, 2.2L Sedan. A few days ago the heater stopped blowing cold air. Minutes after that the coolant temp increased to 243 degrees Fahrenheit. The coolant system was then engaged and the fan kicked on. Well, I checked the coolant level and saw that it was low. I filled it with a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze (orange not green). The heater began working again and the car ran fine maintaining a constant coolant temp between 190-195. I then noticed coolant on the pavement coming from the passenger side, bottom corner of the radiator. I also tried using a radiator sealer that I purchased but it's still dripping antifreeze from that same corner. This is my first project car so I'm wanting to get some feedback on what the root of the leak may be.

Also, there are no lights on to indicate any other problems in the vehicle.

Looking forward to the feedback!

You could check to see if it's coming down from the radiator hose on that side but it sounds like it might be time for a new radiator.

If your car is a manual, I have an almost new aftermarket aluminum radiator I could sell to you (Mishimoto)
