Help Major Malfunction

I have owned my Cobalt for maybe 6 months, its a 05. At first it happened occasionally, but lately it seems to be getting worse. It shifts real hard, sometimes on the highway it will start dinging like my turn signal has been on too long, then it will say check power steering then it will b ok. But the shifing is getting jerkier and jerkier, I had read on hear somewhere about what the problem maybe but i cant find it now.Im also aware there is no power steering fluid on this car. So if you have experienced this or know somone who has please update me, otherwise this will be my last chevy....

If you live in a high humidity area and have road salt . Corrosion is unavoidable. Remove the two blue and gray connectors on the BCM and spray them with contact cleaner let dry and dab a little bit of dielectric grease . Then insert and remove a few times to scrape the corrosion then plug back in everything. Then start loving your Cobalt again.
