headlight help

Any idea why my low beams would by dull and yellow but my high beams work great??.. sounds like a ground issue but I always thought the low and high beams had the same ground??.. any ideas would be great

They have the same ground indeed but each headlight has it's own ground. Maybe just a bad connection on the positive side.

In the fuse box under the hood?... cause there are 2 low beam fuses so maybe out of the switch?

Nope switch goes to BCM, then BCM switches the low beam relay. Maybe the relay though or connection to it. Did you measure voltage at the fuse?

What fuse? I have a right low beam and a left low beam fuse....so either one?

So relay is good since fuses are after relay. From there on everything is separate so the only common thing is a bad batch of bulbs if both are dimmer than should be.

Yep both bulbs were bad thanks... kinda strange that they would both go bad like that at the same time....lol they had been working great for well over a year...
