Hello from CA

Hey everyone, read this forum fairly often, figured it was finally time to join. 2009 Cobalt LT XFE, it's my daily driver, had it since it was new. 124k miles, no problems until recently. Also have a '69 Chevelle, '95 Camaro Z28, 85 S-10 and a '63 Nova drag car.

Welcome to the forums!

Maybe we can help you fix up your 'balt. What's giving you trouble?

Thanks!

Car runs for a short period of time then if you park and try and restart it won't start. Pretty sure it's the fuel pump at this point. I also have the luck of it being a California PZEV car (NU6), so the filter is in the tank.

There is also a lot of conflicting information about the ACDelco GF828 filter kit. Most people agree that it comes with the pump, filter and reservoir pump. When I submitted a question to ACDelco however, they said that it doesn't . I'm just going to order it and go from there at this point.

Sounds like a good plan. If it's missing any parts, it should be easy enough to order what it didn't come with. Best of luck on the repair!
