Red face Had back surgery yesterday morning.

Yup. After a year and a half of pain with a herniated disk that started in lower back and ran down the back of my leg.... physical therapy sessions, chiropractor, Personal training sessions, MRIs, x-rays, and 3 epidurals, I resorted to back surgery yesterday morning. Everything went well and the doctors couldnt believe that I had lasted as long as I didin the condition i was in. They shaved the herniated part of the L5-S1 disk and put a little bit of fat in between the syatic nerve and the disk just incase it ever herniated again. This way, my syatic nerve won be affected. Keep in mind, this started when I was 17, ill be 19 in a couple months.

Staying overnight and cant sleep right now, so I thought I would tell my little story. Lol.

Oh, and the herniated disk was from skateboarding for 6 years, constantly jumping off things. Finally caught up with me. And im pretty stoked that im not going to have anymore pain! HOPEFULLY! Ill find out in the morning when they are going to let me walk.

Sorry for not responding the past few days! Been very busy!

damn dude that sucks! i know what you mean about skating. i skated for 14 years. and i got a broken ankle, torn acl, and countless random joint pains. hips and wrists being the worse of them. i miss it though. i go out sometimes to the local park and fall down a lot.
hope you get to feeling better and have a quick recovery bro!
