Geo Storm Mechanical Help.

Ok, don't start bashing yet hear me out. I have a 93 GSI that has been parked for like 3 years and doesn't run, ran when i parked it pretty decent but im in the military and I can't trust my father with a plastic bucket...seriously he broke my bucket. Thats neither here nor there. So what im wondering if theres some mechanically inclined minds on here to help me out on what I would need to get it up and running. The car has both more HP and significantly more MPG so I want to fix it.

Details: The eninge rolls when I turn the key with a jump but seems very sluggish, and will not start, I didnt change the oil by the way. I put new spark plugs and wires in. I dont hear the fuel pump cut on when I turn the key to ACC but I dont remember ever hearing it. Fuel gauge is broken but I know there is gas in the tank (prob mixed with bad gas but I put the cleaner stuff in it). Fuel, Oil and coolant lines are all intact.

So any help would be appreciated and you can start the bashing if you want.
Oh and im keeping the cobalt I just want a back up car because I get bored driving the same thing everyday.

Basically all i can say it to empty all the fluids (Gas and Oil) change them get a new battery, clean/check injectors, and coolant. The main thing is to check all the fluids and replace as needed. I will be back on in the morning to comment more, need sleep.

If you disconnect the large fuel line from the engine and turn the key to "on" without starting it you will find out if the fuel pump is working or not, as gas should start pumping out of it.

If it works and gas is being pumped out I would get a new bucket (HA HA) and drain the tank. Then refill it with new gas and try again. If it still does not work check the plugs you just put in to see if they are still clean.

Make sure you are using a strong battery to do all this.

Thanks for the help I wish I could try it all sooner but being in the military doesnt give me a lot of off time. I actually have to wait till december so itll be extra fun in the cold.
