Please Drive Safely

Home

The car at the bottom belong to a friend of my family. The brother was driving with the sister. Thankfully they are both alive, Ashley the sister is on a ventilator, and can only move her left arm and head. Last I heard her brother was doing well, but was in critical care.

I am not asking for anyone to help, just posting in case anyone would want to. I am working on a fundraiser for the family over the internet. I am going to create a you tube video, and a complete website, the works, at my expense I will post a link when it's up.

Please everyone remember to drive esp safe in this bad weather!!!

My prayers go out to the family and friends of these teens. Being a firefighter this is one of the worst calls you would ever want to deal with....Do you have details of the crash? I would guess parked or stopped somewhere and something like a semi didnt see them?

Wow, I can't imagine what hit them so hard to do that kind of damage. Best wishes to them, I hope the sis regains feeling ASAP and they come out with no long term disabilities or whatnot, very sad.

Tom.

*They were driving to school I believe, and struck a patch of black ice.
*And ty for your warm wishes
I am not to sure what they hit, from the looks of it, I would say a tree or a pole. This was in a different state then i am in. I can't find anything online other then the photos the towing company posted.

That is a hard impact to judge, if they were spinning they struck with more force, depending on how fast the spin. It looks like it went ass end into a pole/tree at roughly 50 mph while spinning. The smaller the object struck, the "stronger" the impact force. So it's really hard to say without seeing the object they struck.

All that is really nothing anyway, I also got hit 4-5 times in the past week and a half, all people backing out of driveways/parking spots. It does not matter how safe you are if there is a factor out of your control, BUT you can never be to safe.

I just got updated the driver is fine, however the passenger who's birthday was yesterday, is still on the ventilator and can only move her left arm and head. She is getting better, but I highly doubt a full recovery. I want to raise enough money for her medical bills, and to get her a special handicap vehicle for her and her family. It's basically a minivan that has a motorized ramp, which the family will need.

And the only other thing I want is for yall to drive carefully!!!

I have been employed at body shops since 1999, I have seen allot of bad wrecks, this one is defiantly up there with the worst of them. Your lives are not worth it, keep that in mind along with the fact that it does not matter how safe you drive if the cause is out of your control.

Bless this family and the kind words of all of you!!!

I don't think a 1990s or earlier era vehicle would have crumpled like that. What a shame, they don't make em like they used to.
