Unhappy ChevyCustSvc

Cobalt buyers are mostly young people just starting out in the workplace with student loans to payoff at starting salaries in their respectfull fields.
So to me it seems that it would be in GM's advantage to make sure that these young buyers get treated well at their respective dealers. Because when it comes time to upgrade to a nicer vehicle where profit margins are higher seems to me GM would want these young people to come back to their showroom. ChevyCustSvc seems to be working hard to help Cobalt owners but might be fighting a losing battle.

I don't know how many Cobalts and G5s GM sold over the years but they need to make sure these customers are satisfied and happy. Or they will be in the same predicament they were not so long ago.

ChevyCustSvc helped me out with getting the airbags fixed 2 or 3 weeks ago in my Cobalt..

Then this happened last Thursday..

Because they helped me I'm sticking with Chevy when the plan originally was to get the new Elantra..

Now I'm looking at a black 2012 Cruze Eco... Can't wait to pick it up!

Looks like you rear ended a pickup.
Did the airbags deploy?

I love the Cruze, had one out for a test run (Cruze RS). You know that car was designed by DaeWoo, they call it the Lacetti in Korea since 2008 (Old Optra). That's why it rides nothing like a GM.

Yep sure did hit a 90s F150...only hit it at 20-25 mph but that steel bumper still did a number on the Cobalt lol. The steering wheel airbag did deploy.

The Cruze did ride great. The Eco's factory 17 inch wheels right down to the leather wrapped steering wheel.. loved it! Nothing like the Cobalt...

I agree, totally different car. Glad ChevyCustSvc helped you out prior to this mishap. Hope you weren't texting at the time or worse checking out this site.

The wreck didn't have anything to do with a phone.

My wife rearended a van last night with her G6. Wish the phone didn't have anything to do with it.

I tought more people would have jumped on this thread to air their frustrations with dealerships, but I guess they must give better service than I expected. Way to go GM.

My coolant bypass line was leaking, and it wasnt under warranty. They said they didn't have the part in stock, and it would be 3 months until they got it. So I had them use a universal hose. They charged me 160 dollars and it looked like shit!!!! I called and complained about the price they charged, and the poor quality of work. They refunded my money and replaced it with the correct hose for
No additional charge. They have since been honest with me

Dealerships in general in all aspects need to learn how to treat all their customers. I have not had great experiences with my GM dealers aside from my salesmen. Treated like an idiot or like I bothering the people in the shop. I loved how a guy got mad I brought my car back that they sold to me out of inspection because he "had to a another one." Sorry asshole, maybe you employer doesnt sell cars out of inspection so you can sit and be lazy all day. lol, sorry.

Best experience I had was at a Kia dealer when I was thinking about trading in a year ago. I was getting ready to buy my home, he had great advice on that aspect that i used and than talked me out of trading in! Talk me out of getting him a sale! I would of been kinda of dumb to trade in and extend myself but I wanted a lower car payment which they would of given.

Overall I dont hate GM, just some of the people who work for their dealers and thats any dealer be in some foreign car company, a home land company or even a high end dealer that sells ferrari's and such.
