Sacrifices Because of Gas Prices

What have you had to cut back on?

Cobalt or not gas prices are really cutting into my budget. I try to plan my daily route to minimize cost but hell I'm going to have to switch to K/D soon.

130.6 a litre here this morning. About $4.94 to a US gallon and we all know the US/Cdn dollar is at par right now. What gives?

Every minute spent angry is a happy minute lost for ever and ever!!!

Delivery to Canada is more expensive since the oil comes in off the American coasts. My dad lives in WA where one of the main ports are and I (in MN) pay less than he does, now that is messed up. I have been wanting to trifecta tune since I bought the IM and TB in Sept. but havent afforded it yet. I leave for work 30 min earlier too just to avoid the traffic that kills my MPG, I feel ya!

Wow, thats actually more expensive than what we are paying! But I think we've been high for a lot longer than most places. Its been a few years since I've seen gas go below 4 bux a gallon. Currently it's 4.10

I used to spend a full day just driving around a few counties without a real destination. But I haven't done that for awhile.

When it was nice I used to take long sunday drives in the country, not anymore.

Well Canada exports more oil than it import. But if Enbrige reverses one of it's pipelines we might import even less since Obama doesn't want our oil via pipeline. This will increase flow of Alberta oil to Ontario and Québec leaving only the Maritimes and British Columbia to import oil. Once they complete the line to BC only us Maritimers will need to import.

I too am one that would just pop in the car and go for a drive... no matter what time. I have not done that in awhile, though with the gas like it is I never "felt" impact my life then I bought a home. Plus I have not gotten the urge to just drive for no reason lately, probably just the time of the year. Other than that, its put a hamper on most things in my life but its only now because of the extra bills.

i live in canada but gas up across the ditch because its 3.80-390 a gallon US and 1.43 a liter in canada which comes to about 4.80 us gallons o and it takes 50-60 bucks to fill up my tank in Canada, but 38 on empty in the us

Everyone has different style, therefore everyone has different taste, don't like my car, don't look simple as that
