Sponsor?

So I was bored and browsing the net and came across carsponsorships.com and I filled out the app and I got an email saying I was accepted but they need like 79$ fee? Is this legit? Sounds shady to me.

Sounds fishy to me. Though I do believe getting sponsors is possible, mainly for car meets. Put a giant Monster logo on your car and they'll send you a case of their energy drink if you attend car shows. I never looked into it, but it might be true.

Don't do it man, my boy tried doing that he had to pay $99 they told him that they would give him stuff for his car for free & all of that. After he paid they gave him a list of sponsors he had to call & see if they would sponsor him. They also had him @ car shows passing out flyers, shirts, hats & some other stuff. After all of that he still didn't get sponsored through this. It's a complete scam

*shakes head* Its not a "scam" it IS possible to get sponsorships but you would need to attend big shows such as SEMA and not local car shows. Its a process but it has been proven to work.

I remember Sport Compact Car magazine advertised that 10 years ago. You are wasting your time, you have to attend X amount of car shows, provide your own engine blocks if you choose racing, their terms were thee absolute worst. The only reason why you would need a sponsorship is if you plan on taking your car to extremes and driving across the USA on their "terms".

Like cars featured on Honda Tuning and Super Street, they look great, but their not daily drivers and lots of money was put into them Unless you plan on replacing blocks every race season, ask a local drag racer who has a "fast" car, like under 10sec in the 1/4 or 7sec in the 1/8th of how many parts and engines they build for a season, not worth it to me
