Hardest part of the job was cleaning the shop and the paint gun after.

I think the body work will be the harder part haha, couple decent sized dents that need to be straightened out. Not sure how well they actually showed up in the picture though.. can kinda see them above the back wheel in this picture. Would be nice if I could find a front bumper the right color in good shape though

The more I look it over, I might wind up giving the entire car a respray, few spots on the hood and doors and back bumper that need to be touched up. If I'm already painting half the car I might as well do the whole thing, then I won't have to worry as much about matching the tri-coat perfectly because it will all be redone

I guess that will just depend on how much money I actually wind up putting into it, body work will be last anyways

Just assembled our last shelving unit (that we bought like four months ago). Definitely the lemon of the four I have, but I eventually beat it into assembly.

I "replaced" the muffler strap on the Cav with some mechanic's wire. The Walker strap lasted a whole 2-3 years before it rusted in half on Friday.

Found the OEM part number - just going to buy that and have it last a lot longer.

Test drove that 2010 Chevy pickup this morning. Liked everything about it except cigarette smell from previous owner and the 4.8 under the hood. Really nice Truck. Now looking at an other 2011 with a 5.3, front and rear positrac. Extended cab instead of 4 door. Bed is 9'' longer. Sport Model.

5.3 is nicer but the 4.8 is still nice. If you're expecting night and day difference between the two engines there isn't one.

Is the 2011 5.3 a 6 speed? Also check for oil in the exhaust, the afm messes up and they start drinking oil
