I have those days sometimes.. but my brother and I work out together and if I'm feeling lazy he pushes me to lift still and I do the same to him. We've been lifting every day for about 2 months now. Obviously we alternate pushing/pulling and
such to give our muscles the rest they need. And also some days we will just go lighter.. but we've both made substantial gains since we've started

I have some back problems too. At first I thought it was sciatica, but I'm almost certain now it's lower back muscle issues. So what I've been doing is back stretches every day, like yoga kinda, and then working on strengthening those muscles more. So more back days lol I used to rarely deadlift.. and rarely work my back out. But I've been feeling way better lately since I've started, and I've noticed less back pain and I can feel those muscles are stronger now. Obviously if you have sciatica that probably won't help much.. but it couldn't hurt to have stronger supporting muscles for your spine and such. Just be careful with your form and don't go too heavy and I think it would help a bit. At least the stretches would

My back problems come from my scoliosis, although I found that strengthening the muscles in my back helps a lot with it.

Yep - I just knew I wouldn't go as hard or stay as focused, so it was best not to even bother.

Its crazy just how much higher my deadlift was before we moved and I ended up taking an almost 6 month break. Throwing my back out last spring (2015) really did not help matters, as that is something that has caused recurring pain. Not necessarily while working out, but I always need to be careful now, and haven't got even near my old weight on deadlift.

My daughter won the NBPFA body building contest over the weekend. First in her height category and best overall. She is quite proud of her accomplishment. She only started 11 months ago. I'll try and find a good picture so you guys can drool.
