Official Weight Lifting/ Weight Loss/ Health Care Thread

Based on a picture I just saw, my max bench press weight is equal to Jay Cutler's skull crusher. Sweet Jeebus.

That Easy Curl bar does not weigh 45 lbs. That said, that's an insane weight for skullcrushers!

I feel like it varies by brand. When I was in college, the ez curl bar weighed almost nothing. Maybe 5 lbs. Now that I'm going to 10Gym, it feels like it weighs at least 20 lbs. They're obviously 2 different brands since they're so different, but I was really confused why I couldn't preacher curl anywhere near what I could in college!

^2x

I put a 10 and a 5 on each side for my preacher/spider curl. By that point I've done both a 4x12 65lb barbell curl and 4x10 30lb dumbell hammer curl, so my biceps are pretty wasted.

I haven't gotten to the gym all week and it's killing me. Also this cold is killing me.

My right wrist has been messed up and painful for the past couple weeks, still not sure what I did to it, but I haven't lifted as a precaution. Don't need to try deadlifting on a bad wrist. Ugh.

For sure. Not much you can do with a messed up wrist. Maybe legs?
