You know what!? That's not a bad idea. Right now the tires I want are this much. Wouldn't mind a better deal, still not a bad price but when you add 15% tax to it, it's not so great.

I tried that. Manufacturer didn't give a mileage warranty as they were considered a Performance Off-Road tire, and the shop I got them from didn't give me a warranty because the manufacturer didn't. They did however, give me a slight discount on 2 new tires ($100 off to be exact for the pair). Needless to say, I didn't buy the K02's again.

I agree, there was a whole lot of hype about them when I got them, and they were the series 1, and EVERYONE talked them up, thus why I spent $700 for the pair, but I always go off personal experience, and my personal experience is they were the worst tread life tire I had ever owned. They worked well for everything else tho, so I'm happy with that, but the fact of buying $1400 in tires every 2-3 months is ridiculous.

Protip to any gay guy who tries hitting on me at work: at least have the decency to leave me a tip.

Did you flirt back?

Maybe that'd have gotten you a big tip.

And a big tip on the check, too.

See what I did there?

Also, @Plain Jane , the bar we went to Saturday night for dinner had your favorite Saugatuck Neapolitan Milk Stout on tap, along with all sorts of other Michigan beers. I didn't get it, but I saw it and immediately thought "hey, PJ likes that!"

Too bad the service was excruciatingly slow. I don't think I even got my one beer until 30 minutes in - and that was after waiting 20 minutes to be asked what I wanted. I assumed he just had to go run up to Traverse City (Right Brain) to brew it himself.

I looked online and it may be a quality control issues. Seems a good 20% of people with them complain about fast wearing.
