The 355 Twins

First off I love my Cobalt and will not give it up that easily. Then sometimes I miss having a truck for I once owned a Ford Ranger. What do you guys think of the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon? I've been drooling over a 5.3 V8 midsize. I may have been a Ford guy for years but nothing wrong with going beyond. I also heard the 3.7 I5 is pretty peppy.

Even though fullsize trucks are silmilar in price and mpg for a midsize, I only prefer the midsize because of the lesser gas tank.

my uncle bought one brand new back in 04 and an 04 blazer to go with it.. it was the crew cab..nothing too special it was pretty base other than power windows..but that thing had ALOT of torque. if you so much as barely tap the gas the tires spun. i love them.

I might look into a GMC Canyon extended cab (Colorado optional) with the 5.3 V8 at a GMC/Buick where my aunt and uncle got their cars over the years. Won't be til the summer though. The V8 is rare to find I hear so the 3.7 I5 is backup. So far my Balt (depite the negative on trade) is capable with the Loyalty rebate $1000, got an X-plan from work. and lead toward the 0%/72. Any other rebates? Saving some cash for down payment.
