Beamers 2015 Chrysler 200s

Ok, figured I would make a thread since I will do some stuff to this thing. Got the car at the end of august.

2015 Chrysler 200S (vivid blue)

Some basic info:

3.6L V6 | 295HP - 262ft. lbs
9 Speed automatic with Paddle Shifters
18in Premmy Wheels wrapped in typical crappy factory tires
Cruise Control
Power windows alround, fronts have auto up and down feature
A/C, climate control
SXM radio(no cd player first car to go without from factory)
Bluetooth, USB and other hookups

The screen for audio and such is touch screen, I did not opt for the BIG screen though I wish I did sometimes but I was trying to stay within budget, plus the only other vivid blue they had with it(wanted this color only) was the AWD model and almost 4k more. I got mine for just over 20 out the door after incentives and down payment. This car won out over a few others mainly do to the deal with the extras I got with it. Free washes and details, free ding, dent and a bunch of other repairs. Extended warrantee with roadside and $1000 out of state help for a room and rental if needed. Car care kit and a few other goodies.

The screen in the center of the gauges has many options, one including personalizing what you want to see such as outside temp, radio/sxm station, speed, gear.... I have mine setup to show Avg. mpg on top left, gear in center and miles to empty on the right. Below that it Speed and under that I have it telling me coolant temp as well as tranny temp and usually thumb through other info when I feel like it.

So onto the pics.

Today I finished up de-badging the rear. I like it much more now.

Future plans:

Window tint and strip over front
Mopar intake
Exhaust to livin' the sound up some
And eventually new wheels
And if I can, tint the taillights just a bit.

Other than that its not getting too much. Depending on the aftermarket I might upgrade the whole exhaust setup but this car is totally new so there is not much out there. Doing searches I only get stuff for the crappy sebring based 200's.

thanks man, it is a nice sedan for sure. Sad part is if I want to drive a manual now the only option is the girls 500 lol and I hate the way it all feels in that. It is nice though to just put it in D or S and just sit back and relax. I hear complaints about the stock stereo system but I like it. Can't wait to take it on a trip which should be in a week or so.

some have been having issues with rough idle or driving while just after start up or when the car is warmed up. I have experienced that but not to where I was like I thought I should take it in. Some do not like the trans, it shifts long if that makes sense here and there between gears 2-4 but driving in S mode its seems better and the trans is suppose to learn based on driving for the first few hundred miles. There are apparently updates I could have the dealer do if it does not improve. But I am pleased with it.

I like the color but it's a Chrysler....Only ever owned one Chrysler in my life, only kept it of a couple of weeks. It was a 1972 Challenger. If you stepped on it to hard the unibody spot welds would come apart. Always avoided them after, maybe they've improved since then but still not going to take a chance. I tried their new Jeep Cherokee about 3 weeks ago, that was a nice new piece of junk. But hey! I'm a bit biased, car looks good though, hope it last as good as it looks.

Hey, at least it's not a Ford lol. Seriously though, pretty slick car, really dig the styling.

It's a nice looking car. Good power as well. I find Chrysler slacks a lot in their fuel economy department however. But we mentioned that when you were asking our opinions on what to get.

Still man, nice car. It's new, new feels great

This is my first Chrysler, hope its a good experience. I get a lot of eye brows raised from friends and fam. Kind of glad I got it cause of that haha.

Almost hard to tell a fusion and this apart from the side profile. Yesterday on my way home from work I had to go through a police check point(license and tag check). The officer goes "is this that new chrysler everyone is talking about." I said yea and than we chatted for about 5 mins lol. Traffic was not happy I am sure but what could they do. He looked in it and was like "damn, never was crazy for chrysler" I said who is? and than he was like "I like it man, looks sharp" and he sent me on my way.

So it'd make a good drug runner's car?
