Moving Battery to Get Space for Fuel Cell :)

so i decided to get a custom fuel cell insted of crappy fuel tank thats always on the way when i am messing with exhaust crap also i am trying to get a 50/50 weight distribution (dont laught haha) anyways i want to use that big ass spare tire space to put a fuel cell but battery was on the way so i move it
#1 take the battery out (of course)
#2 use step drill to drill out spot welds
#3 use grinder to cut out parts of the battery box that you wont need
#4 pick a place and weld it in (or bolted in)
#5 put the battery back.......
#6 weld the holes up you made with step drill (thats if you want i will just leave em because i will use construction foam under the fuel cell)

hhhmm it dont look straight and i took a second look in the trunk but its just a picture

what do you mean how it works...
its a container just like your gas tank just bigger and its in the trunk not next to exhaust and uses the same pump or you can put a different pump like 250 pph or and exturnal pump and u can ether buy a foam to put in the tank that prents fuel from sloshing or get a fuel tank/cell that has buffles to keep fuel from sloshing

fuel cells are nice but I don't see the point on a cobalt.

lol if its gonna be little aux fuel tank then i dont think you need to move the battery, but if you want to take that whole space up where the spare supposed to be then go ahead lol
also everyone says that theres no point for doing this... well theres no point of doing this if you aren't racing in your cobalt haha
