As for me, I bought my car used with the low rise. Is it functional? No. Do I mind it? Not really, but I'd be able to sleep comfortably if I never had it to begin with.

Even FWDs need downforce.

You're not going to be going fast enough on the street for a Spoiler.
The Low rise wouldn't do anything.. lol

and at 113 MPH (stock cobalt ls/lt ) the high rise would do absoultely nothing for you, and is strictly cosmetic..

I know either spoiler would do nothing on a stock ls/lt. But you'd need rear downforce (with a front splitter & ground effects) for competitive racing applications, even on an FF car.

Lol

The best thing for our cars (arguably) would be to cut down the drag coefficient and downforce to boost fuel economy. You'd sacrifice some performance (which 95% of ls/lt owners couldn't care less about anyways). Ironically enough though, without the limiter, the car will technically have a higher top speed by being streamlined. Less wind resistance, more mph.

At the cost of stability however. You'd be driving a very fuel efficient deathtrap.
