Help with G5 GT

alright so I used to have an 06 cobalt ls, but I wrecked it. I am looking into buying a G5 GT, but they all seem to be automatic trannys? Dont they make gt's with a manual tranny?? I cant find any

If I am correct they came with a Getrag five-speed manual.

It was definitively an option. May not be very common though, most optioned up cars usually come with an auto. My friends brother has balt sport which is basically the same thing with a manual.

if you ever have questions about trannys you can always look up the car model on wikipedia and it will show the trannys that went into that model stock, same as motors and even length and width of the body. but im not sure about g5s but i know that the cobalt had a 4 speed automatic and a 5 speed manual transmissions available for them

the G5 GT is basically a SS/NA for what ive seen, also I have a base G5 with a manual
so i cant see why they wouldn't make it an option for the GT

Ya it would be silly to call it a GT, and not offer one. But we are talking about GM here. LOL

Yeah... they make it,,, almost bought one in 08 (manual), but went auto instead. Manual was had to find, with leather interior.
