Not Sure if I Should Drive It

Recently i bought a 09 cobalt SS its super fun but ever since i got it ive noticed this low pitch rotating hum noise but only when its in gear if i pop it in neutral the noise goes away. so we put it on the lift and determined it was the tranny or clutch. Its a hard noise to describe but i know it has to be drivetrain related since it does not make the noise just rolling in neutral. Any ideas what could cause this?

Probably the input shaft bearing to the transmission.
