Ac Blower Switch

hey guys today I was gonna try and clean my ac blower switch to see if that will fix my ac issues. last week it stopped blowing and I changed the resistor and blower motor but no luck. I heard it gets pretty dirty back there and it could mess up the connection. never done this before and haven't really found any how to guides or videos on it. was seeing if there was anyone on here that actually tried this? if so, is there anything I should be aware of? I watched a video of a guy taking off the trim to change his radio deck so im assuming its the same process on how to take out the ac control unit. thank you for all the help!

Usually this problem is caused by a badly corroded ground. The switch itself is so simple in design they rarely go bad.
