I'm new to the group and am somewhat confused on the coolant fan subject. I read its a low/ high fan scenario with the cobalt. I have one fan and I have replaced the coolant fan relay 1 and 2(just in case), fuses are good and the outcome is still the same. Runs up to 195 average temp on the road and Idles up to high temps and now kicks on around that 217 mark. I guess I'm old school when it comes to these coolant temps they run so high now days. Is this normal? Is the one fan dual speed?? I don't seam to have a low fan running at 185 as some say I should. Very mixed messages on the web resources I have viewed. Thanks in advance for any clarification in this issue.
