Fuel leak

Ok, I have read the how to on patching the fuel feed and return lines with high pressure fuel hose but mine goes up past the heat wrap that's on it and had to remove it to get the old line out. Anybody else have this issue and did you put some kind of heat wrap back around the lines?

Yes put the heat wrap back on the lines because it's close to the exhaust pipe I put on three to five feet of rubber hose on each line depending on the condition of the steel line
