Head Gasket

I have to change the head gasket on my 2,2l and I just check on Ebay for the part and it's specified that i have to remove the old one and put the new one immediatly to avoid other problèmes. But, if I have to bring the head to machine shop it will take at least one or two days. What is your advise about this. Thank you

I suspect a language translation mistake probably just means if your head gasket is bad don't drive it change it
