No air blowing after replacing blower motor

07 cobalt here with about 130xxx miles. Original blower motor went out so I cut it out and replaced with an aftermarket one from autozone. Worked well for awhile on the highest setting but the wires melted. Shop said it was the resistor (makes sense) and I would have to replace the blower motor connector since it melted.

So i replaced the resistor (duralast) and the had to use the butt clamp connectors to wire in the replacement blower motor connector (ac delco). Now the I can hear the blower motor running on all 4 speeds, although the motor is very loud, but there is no air pushing through the vents. I'm wondering if I wired it backwards, but I matched red to red and black to black. Any ideas what this might be?

I did pull out the cabin air filter which was disgusting and tried to run the vents without a filter in and still not much air flow. First post here so if you need more info let me know. Thanks.
