P0171 p2135

So a couple weeks ago I Got the 2 trouble trouble codes p0171 p2135 and went into limp mode. I turned the car off, cleared the codes and only p0171 came back and has been on consistently. I've changed the fuel filter, checked the vacuum lines, cleaned the maf adn air filter. Nothing has helped yet. Then today p2135 came back and put me into limp mode again. So I'm wondering how the 2 of them can be connected? I'm kinda at an impasse here....

P2135 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation ECM

They are very related. I believe on the Cobalt the throttle position sensor is built into the throttle body itself. You could try cleaning the connectors contacts but chances are you will need a new throttle body. Most can be swapped without a relearn provide the keys are in you pockets and not in the ignition when you do so.

I was able to get rid of the P2135 code. One of the wires insulation was worn out and the wire was expoed a bit. Re-soldered it and its good to go, but the P0171 code is still being a problem. I was able to finally find a vacuum leak. I fixed that, but no change in anything.
