Brake Probs...already?

05 Base 70K no brake work since got car @ 24K...

Anybody had brake lines leaking? This is gf's car and she told me months ago she has seen a puddle by drivers back tire. But the brakes ALWAYS WORKED GREATand fluid was never low so I hoped for the best. I took the car for a spin today and the brakes were about 1/2 what they were a week ago. Now with snow melting and wet I don't know how to see a leak until everything dries up outside. It was dark already when I looked at it so I'll check and add fluid in the morning if needed when I can see.
Is this a known problem on these cars by any chance?
Anybody have any ideas?

have someone pump the brakes while you check the lines around the drum. if there's no seeping/leaking over there take the drum off and lift up the rubber boot on the wheel cylinder. those are your 2 culprits right there.

I added brake fluid until it came up the neck - I couldn't see the level even in the daytime. It must have been full since it didn't take much.

Thanks for your help!

If you had a leak, you would lose the LF/RR or RF/LR brakes before you ever saw a puddle.
