Fuel Filter Replacement

does anyone know how to replace the fuel filter? is there a link to a how-to cuz i couldnt find one, thanks

Our fuel filters are good up to 100,000 miles.



Mod's So Far: AEM CAI, C.A. Header, 2.50 Magnaflow Catback Exhaust , ZZP Catless Downpipe, DC Carbon Strut Bar, Dropped on Progress Springs. Tinted, Fully Debadged, Custom front SS bumper,2 Audiobahn 10" w/JL amp, Lower Billett Grille, Sengen 18 x 8 rims wrapped in Capitol Sport UHP 225/40/18.

1. relieve fuel system pressure

2. Raise vehicle and support on jackstands.

3. Clean fuel filter fitting on outside ot pevent debris from entering fuel system.

4. Disconnect fuel lines at both ends of fuel filter. Watch out excess fuel. It will spill out.

5. Remove fuel filter. Also note the direction of the filter is installed for proper installation of new filter.

6. Install new filter, reconnect lines, and make sure the fittings are attached securely. Star engine and check for leaks.

well it sounds detailed enough but thanx, one question though, do i need a certain tool to remove the fuel lines?

I was just under my car today, and i found out that my filter is inside the tank.

I was wondering... Do all Cobalt XFEs have SAI?
