Hazards Issue

Driving home tonight from the local car get together i was with my buddy and we were splitting up and i went to put my hazards on and realized that they will only stay on if i hold the button and if i let go they wont stay on so either the switch isnt latching or something and they blink fairly fast for hazards

anyone has this issue i just put HID's in should this affect them in any manner?

thanks for the replies
