Post Problems with Old Cobalts V.S Newer Ones

Is there a huge difference between the manufacturing of older cobalts (2005-07) and the newer 08-2010s?
after reading the post about a 2010 cobalt practically dying , it leaves me wondering.

About the same, all vehicles, all manufacures have issues. most are just kept under control and never get out.

I have had no issues with my 09 cobalt and I put 20 000 kilometers on it in 9 months. (knock on wood) I've yet to hear about serious issues with newer balts.
keep in mind a lot of people treat their cars like shit, and don't know the first thing about maintenance or upkeep or respecting their car. Something's bound to happen in these cases...

The 2008-2010 cars that are having issues are likely the T/C models. They tend to have issues with the charge pipe and some other things.

our cars (05-06) are older, so yeah there's more problems. the newer cobalts are without a doubt upgraded in a lot of ways. that's why you see a lot of people doing oem upgrades since direct injection hit the cobalt.
