Service Airbag Light Message on then Went Off

I started my car up at work today, and got a service airbag on the dash and the light was on, drove about 10 miles and stopped for lottery tickets, shut it off, and went to start it back up and didnt have the light or message again. I scanned it and nothing showed up. What could this be, as I dont want to take it to the dealer if they are going to say nothing is wrong. Car has about 20k and never had an airbag light before.

probably a loose wire. have you had the steering recall done? any service to the steering column/shaft? there's no actual connector for the airbag on 05-06 not sure about 07 up. but the wires literally get squeezed into a sort of connector like plastic housing. they tend to never be the same after they've been serviced.

Didn't have the recall done but I have had a steering shaft replaced. I called the dealer and they said most likely a loose wire and a normal scanner won't pull the code supposedly? So I'm making an appointment to get that looked at, my belt squeak and to have the steering shaft that's been in for 500 miles to get replaced again lol.

Isn't it amazing that a car gets better when you take it to the dealer then the second you leave, its all bad again.
