Help Me Please

hey guys my girlfriend has a 01 grandam an at work today it wouldnt start i tried jumping it the but the battery isnt dead. its at 17 volts so its good but when i turn the key it just clicks once not like a repadative click just clicks once. whats wrong with it guys n how do i fix it
