ECM Sits Loose Under the Hood.

Has anyone else noticed how loose the ECM sits in that slot by the fuse box under the hood? I just bought an 09 Cobalt used but with just 5k miles on it, and I am having some misfire/bucking issues. Went under the hood to do a general check, make sure there are no disconnected vac lines or anything, and saw how the computer is mounted. Seems like it will take a lot of unnecessary beating the way it sits in there. Is this normal?

Both my 06 LS and 07 SS/NA ECMs were loose -- they were not rigidly attached -- you could move them fairly easy with little effort. It's normal.

Uhh, no.

It's in the engine bay, in front of the fuse box.
