Trunk Release Button Not Working

Trying to find some information about a 2007 Cobalt LT. The trunk release button on the dash behind the little door is not working.
For background some other things I plan to look at today is the electric door lock buttons have quit working on both front doors and the Unlock button only works on the passenger door button. As well the AC decides not to work on some warmer days. Any information on any of these items would be great.

I have checked all the fuse and replaced one 15 amp fuse that was bad i think it was the "Trunk, Accessory Power Outlet" fuse had to replace it to get power to the OBD-II port.

I don't have an exact time frame for when each of the problems started. I am just tryin to fix some of these issues for a friend.

apparently the door locks quit locking at different times first the driver side and then later the passenger side (buttons)

all problems i have previously posted are still not fixed, i have not had the time to work on the car just yet.

test light to the wire going to the trunk release...to the ground on the battery since it;s right there. touch the test light to the positive terminal to be sure you have a good connection. hang it in sight testing the wire to the trunk release, press button. if no workie, check fusie. if it lights up when you press the button, the release is faulty somewhere or the connection suckd. if you havent figured it out by now, be prepared for some doody.
