Need Help Asap W Shifter

My shifter is loose or something in simple words it spin any help don't know how to fit it, the shifter is a hurst model

So your saying you bought a Hurst shifter handle and it will not thread correctly onto the factory shifter, Is it a T handle shifter? Does it thread on at all? Or is it just sloppy and loose after you thread it all the way? They make different thread sizes in the T handle. If it is just a little loose you can use some white thread tape used for plumbing applications and can be found at any hardware store. Just wrap the threads with the tape and put the handle on.

naw i bought the car used and the hurst shifter came with it the knob is secure on there, but the whold shaff is spinning, and yes it has a t-handle

the hex bolt on the ball pivot is stripping or loose. i had the same problem with my hurst. get a b&m it won't happen again.
