Coupe Passenger Seat Button

Hi everyone,
i have a 2 door cobalt, and theres the button on the back of the passenger seat that allows the seat to slide for passengers to get in/out of the car.

my button does not allow the seat to slide anymore. it still reclines the seat but does not move it. i found a cable on the ground, underneath the seat which must have snapped, causing this problem.

before i go and take out the seat, has anyone had this problem before? is it difficult to re-install?

id really appreciate some kind of diagram, or picture or something of underneath the seat so i know where that cable belongs and where i should re-attach!
