Unhappy Secondary Air Injection System

I have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, 2.2L. Recently I started throwing some random codes (P0411, P0140, P2431, U0121). The dealership told me to correct these codes I would have to replace the Air pump, solenoid, and 2 fuses that correspond to those two parts. I have also been told by other people that the computer of the car can be "reprogrammed" to basically make the car not need those parts anymore and not have to have the air pump. I am trying to figure out what to do, I have a week left to get this part, I do not have the $500 the dealer wants for the parts and the only other places I can find it is junkyards, but I also hear that this is a common thing to break and I don't want to be fixing it every year. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You get a aftermarket tune from Trifecta and have it turned off.
Your looking at about $250 for the tune.
