Random "brake" Light

I'll be driving around and randomly the "brake" light will come on, the light that's in the cluster used when your e-brake is engaged....it stays on for about 20-30 seconds then just goes out.

any ideas?

Mine has done the same thing except the light has only stayed on for 3-5 seconds. In for answers, lol. I have abs though.

Maybe you have a lose wire or something. Check the wire under your middle counsel.

i checked my haynes manual an said to check fluid level first if not already done then check all wires&harness after that it doesn't say much, for the fact that these manual are not as helpful as they used to be.

If it was a fluid issue, your DIC should say "BRAKE FLUID" in conjunction with flashing the brake light.
