Drivers Side Door Unlock Doesnt Work....

I have a 2005 Cobalt couple LS.

I just bought it and noticed that the interior door is apart. The buttons to roll down and up the windows works, the electric mirror adustments half work. I cannot use the down or left button. The unlock and lock buttons do not work.

This would not even be an issue if it were on the passenger side but it's a real PITA considering my key FOB is not working (but will be once I fix it).

Anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this?

Could be just loose wires but I am not sure how to remove the component from the door.

I took the pull handle cover off then when I went to unscrew the two inside it started to strip .......

Mine does the same thing. It sounds like it catches. I had to replace key fobs with new but if i try opening doors before in park it seems to put lock off kilter. thought maybe was just my car lol guess not.

Last winter i curved my radiator and condenser, They have been replaced i seem to have a problem using air conditioning. If I push air button in car i blower the front 30A fuse every time. Then radiator fan will not work and car will start to overheat. Anyone have a clue where the short might be?
