PLEASE HELP Car Won't Start, Dies Ight Away.

Having some serious issues with my cobalt. Has been running on base tune after turbo install for 2 weeks, with no problems. Installed new tune yesterday from trifecta, ran fine all day. This morning CEL came on, drove it down the street then noticed real bouncy idle, drove it home, turned it off and wouldn't start again. Turns over then dies right away.

CEL code I'm getting is P0443 - purge solenoid/wiring or something.

Help! Need the car working and not willing to tow it to stupid dealer...

found issue. Was a blown fuse under the hood. 10A "Exh" fuse. Anybody ever blown this fuse before? possible reasons for blowing it?

short to ground in an o2 sensor wire? that would cause it to pull more current and pop the fuse...

I think it's that. I popped 2 more fuses today, basically pop one everytime I drive somewhere...so annoying! g2 get this fixed.

I'm thinking of disconnecting the primary O2 sensor (which is currently slightly bent and wiring is hitting a bolt sticking out of firewall) for tomorrow, since I only have to drive 15 mins to train and back. You think this will cause any problems? if that fuse is blown I think there won't be any power going to that O2 sensor as well as everything else the fuse connects to anyways, no? (it's apparently also connected to the MAF, both O2 sensors, and the evap solenoid)

Disconnecting the O2 will only turn on CEL and srewup fuel mixture a bit no biggy. Better than knocking MAF out of circuit.

ya you probably are missing insulation on that wire touching the bolt. i wouldnt drive it in that condition myself. especially with those other critical systems wired in that circuit. bare minimum i would wrap that wire where its touching the bolt in electrical tape before driving it.

thanks coby7, that's what I was wondering.

and I need my car, least tomorrow and Wednesday. Just to get to the train and back...

then Thursday night I'm going to drive it up north so I can fix it with my dad. Mostly highway driving, and I believe that at cruising speed the computer sets A/F to about 14.4-14.7 anyways so I think it should be okay, least that's what my wideband has been reading...

damn how does that work? and can u snap a picture? is it the bend thing (like they did for my rear O2 sensor) and will it screw into my current primary O2 bung or something?
